Within seven months from October 2002 to May 2003, on the vessel "Academician Ioffe" of the Institute of Oceanology named after P.P. Shirshova artist and photographer Lilia Slavinskaya (Fillo) created oil paintings, graphics in pastels, watercolors, drawings with lead, color pencil and lots of photos. In the North Seas, in the Atlantic and Southern Oceans, on the Falkland Islands and on the islands of South Georgia, on the Antarctic Peninsula. The nature of the researcher and the artist led to the study in drawing and painting of the nature of ice, icebergs, natural relief, animal habits.
